Laminate flooring is typically composed of four layers. The top layer is the wear-resistant layer, usually made of aluminum oxide, which provides high hardness and excellent wear resistance. Below the wear-resistant layer is the decorative layer, which is a special processed wood grain paper soaked in melamine solution. It can resist water, moisture, ultraviolet rays, and has a realistic pattern.
The core layer is made of high-density fiberboard, medium-density fiberboard, or particleboard, which is formed by crushing natural wood, restructuring the fiber structure, and high-temperature and high-pressure molding. The bottom layer is the balance (moisture-proof) layer, which is made of polymer resin material and is glued to the bottom of the substrate to stabilize the floor and prevent moisture.
