SPC flooring stands for Stone Plastic Composite flooring. It is a popular type of rigid core luxury vinyl flooring. The core is made from a blend of natural limestone powder and polyvinyl chloride, which makes it extremely strong, stable, and durable. One of its best features is that it is 100% waterproof, making it perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. SPC flooring comes with a printed design layer that can realistically replicate the look of wood or stone. It usually includes a attached underlayment for noise reduction and comfort.

Packaging & Shipping
SPC flooring planks are carefully packed in strong cardboard boxes to protect them from damage. Each box usually contains between 7 and 12 planks. Boxes are stacked onto wooden pallets and tightly wrapped with plastic stretch film. For extra safety during ocean freight, pallets are secured with strong straps and air bags. Once the flooring arrives, it should be stored in a dry indoor area and acclimated for 48 hours before installation.
Production Workshop
Our production workshop is a highly automated industrial environment. The process begins with high-speed mixing of limestone powder and PVC, followed by a twin-screw calendering line that forms the solid core. Large rollers laminate the decorative film and wear layer under extreme pressure. Rotary slitters and embossing rollers create the final plank dimensions and wood grain textures. The entire facility is equipped with dust extraction systems to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is SPC flooring really 100% waterproof?
Yes, SPC flooring is completely waterproof. Its stone plastic composite core contains no wood or organic materials, so it will not absorb water, swell, or warp. This makes it ideal for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.
Can I install SPC flooring over my existing tiles or concrete?
Yes. SPC flooring uses a floating click-lock system, so it can be installed directly over existing hard surfaces like ceramic tiles, vinyl, or concrete, provided the subfloor is flat and clean.
Is SPC flooring durable enough for pets?
Absolutely. SPC flooring is highly resistant to scratches, scuffs, and stains. It can easily handle pet claws and is easy to clean without trapping odors.
Does SPC flooring need an underlayment?
Many SPC products come with a pre-attached underlayment pad. If not, a separate vapor barrier or underlayment may be needed depending on your subfloor type.
Is SPC flooring difficult to maintain?
No, it is very low maintenance. Regular sweeping or vacuuming and occasional damp mopping with a mild cleaner are all that is required. It does not need waxing or polishing.
What is the fire rating of this flooring?
Our SPC flooring typically achieves a Class 1 / Class A fire rating, meaning it is flame retardant and provides high safety levels for residential and commercial use.
